(AUSTIN, TX) — Missouri guard Michael Dixon gave the Tigers the lead with 31 seconds left in regulation, to give the fourth ranked Tigers a 67-66 win over Texas.
“They did a good job of denying the wings,” Dixon said after the game. “I could see I couldn’t get the ball to Phil or Marcus. I was making plays all game, so I just went and made a play.”
The win improves Missouri’s record to 7-2 in the Big 12, and 20-2 overall.
Dixon finished the game with a game high 21 points, going 9 for 10 from the field including 2 for 2 from three point range.
Next up for Mizzou, a visit from the eighth ranked Jayhawks on Saturday.
