(NEW YORK) — NFL free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens will be back in football — just not the NFL, for now.
Owens will be headed to the Indoor Football League. Yes, the IFL.
He announced on Twitter, via a video, that he will play for and also be the part-owner of the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League.
“Uh-oh, it’s official. It just went down. I’m headed back to Texas. That’s right. IFL, here I come. Allen, Texas, here I come. I’m gonna be me.” said Owens. “Allen, Texas, I’ll see you in the end zone.”
Get your popcorn ready.
