Parcells Sounds off on Coughlin and Belichick

Bobby Bank/WireImage(NEW YORK) — In an interview with ESPN Radio on Thursday, former NFL head coach Bill Parcells spoke about his two former understudies who will be meeting again in Super Bowl 46.
Both New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin and New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick came from the Parcells’ coaching class.
“They do have a lot in common but I think the persona is just a little different on the part of each of them,” said Parcells. “Both of them were straight football guys, intense competitors, very thorough, and quite intense in their preparation.”
Parcells coached the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories in 1986 and 1990. He did not indicate who he was rooting for in Indianapolis.
