(PHILADELPHIA) — The Philadelphia Phillies agreed on a one year $10.4 million dollar deal with outfielder Hunter Pence on Friday.
The 28 year-old Pence is entering his sixth major league season.
Last year, Pence hit .314 with 22 homers and 97 RBIs playing in both Houston and Philly.
Pence’s contract is full of incentives. He can earn $50,000 dollars for making the All-star team, winning a gold glove, receiving a silver slugger or being the league championship series MVP. He would also receive $100,000 dollars if he won either the NL MVP or the World Series MVP.
