(IDAHO FALLS) – Local law enforcement agencies say they’re making progress in the battle against meth. Police say meth use in the region is on the decline, partly because of increased enforcement, as well as a heightened awareness through the Idaho Meth Project. Last week, 11 people were arrested in eastern Idaho in connection to a large meth-trafficking ring. KIDK reports that while the supply remains high, the demand for the dangerous drug has gone down. Teen meth use has dropped 52 percent since 2008.
