(IDAHO FALLS) – A preliminary hearing involving two suspects in the murder investigation of Buck Garner sparked a controversy Friday. Local News 8 reports that the victim’s mother shouted an expletive at Judge Ralph Savage, after Savage reduced the bond for both suspects. The judge scolded the woman, threatening her with a charge of being in contempt of court. Joshua Cortez, the man believed to have stabbed Buck Garner to death early Christmas morning, is being held on a $30,000 bond.
