Razzie Awards Pushed Back to April Fool’s Day

Karl Larsen/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — The Golden Raspberry Awards — better known to you as the Razzies — will forgo tradition this year by holding its ceremony after the Oscars. The 32nd Annual Razzies, honoring the worst in film in 2011, will be held on Sunday, April 1, to coincide with April Fool’s Day. The nominees will be announced Saturday, February 25, the day before the Academy Awards.
In past years, the Razzie nominations have been announced the day before the Academy reveals its nominees. The Razzies ceremony was typically held on the eve of the Oscars.
