(BOISE) – U.S. Congressman Ron Paul won the Idaho Straw Poll Friday. Nearly 400 people came to Boise to cast their votes at the GOP fundraiser. Paul took the lead in Idaho with 43 percent of voters, while Mitt Romney came in second with 33 percent, and Newt Gingrich at third with about 12 percent. The cost to vote in the non-binding poll was $30. Party leaders hope to get some of the candidates to come to Idaho before the state caucus March 6.
