(PASADENA, Calif.) — It’s the granddaddy of them all, the Rose Bowl, set to take place Monday afternoon, featuring (6) Oregon against (9) Wisconsin. Both teams come into the contest with identical records of 11-2.
“Our guys are just excited to play against a very, very good Wisconsin team,” Ducks head coach Chip Kelly said. “We know it’s going to be a huge challenge, but that’s what this deal is all about.”
Both schools feature high power offenses, with the Ducks ranked third in the nation in scoring and the Badgers fourth.
Oregon’s offense starts with star running back LaMichael James, who rushed for over 1600 yards this season, fourth most in the country.
“I want it really bad,” James said of his desire to win the Rose Bowl. “I wanted the other two really bad and I want every game really bad. This is a big game for us.”
Kickoff is set for 5 P.M. Eastern.
