(LOS ANGELES) — Following her hospitalization last week, Demi Moore dropped out of a film based on the life of porn star Linda Lovelace. She has since been replaced by Sarah Jessica Parker, who will fill the role of feminist Gloria Steinem, according to Entertainment Weekly. Parker begins work on the film Monday.
The filmmakers behind Lovelace confirmed Parker’s involvement just hours after Us Weekly reported — erroneously, as it turned out — that Weeds actress Mary-Louise Parker was taking over Moore’s role.
Lovelace will star Amanda Seyfried in the title role.
