The Atlanta Hawks (5-3) too care of the Charlotte Bobcats (2-5), in overtime, 102-96.

The Indiana Pacers (5-2) popped the Boston Celtics (4-4), 87-74.

NHL: The New York Rangers (26-9-4) topped the Pittsburgh Penguins (21-14-4), 3-1.

The New Jersey Devils (22-16-2) cruised past the Florida Panthers (20-13-8), 5-2.

The Carolina Hurricanes (14-21-7) doubled up the Buffalo Sabres (18-18-4), 4-2.
