Shooting at North Carolina Lumber Company Leaves 3 Dead

Ronald Dean Davis, 50, of Ether, is accused of shooting four people at McBride Lumber Co. in Star, N.C., around 6:30 a.m. Friday before later shooting himself at home. Police found Davis in critical condition at his home after the shooting, and he was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Three of the victims, meanwhile, have died, and the fourth victim was airlifted to a hospital where he is in critical condition, police said.

The shooter was a disgruntled former employee who left a note about the shootings.
