(STAR, N.C.) – Three people have died and another is injured after a disgruntled employee shot up a lumber company in North Carolina before turning the gun on himself, police said Friday.
Ronald Dean Davis, 50, of Ether, is accused of shooting four people at McBride Lumber Co. in Star, N.C., around 6:30 a.m. Friday before later shooting himself at home. Police found Davis in critical condition at his home after the shooting, and he was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Three of the victims, meanwhile, have died, and the fourth victim was airlifted to a hospital where he is in critical condition, police said.
The shooter was a disgruntled former employee who left a note about the shootings.
