Sick LeBron Leads Heat to Victory over Lakers

Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images(MIAMI) -- Flu-like symptoms weren't enough to stop LeBron James. James had 31 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists as the Miami Heat beat the Los Angeles Lakers 98-87.

The Heat, who were also playing without star guard Dwyane Wade for the second straight game, led from the middle of the first quarter on.

The Heat are now 5-1 at home this season. They will try and make it 6-1 Saturday when they take on the 76ers.
