(PITTSBURGH) — Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has announced he will not let safety Ryan Clark play in Sunday’s playoff game against the Broncos in Denver. Clark has a sickle cell trait that can affect his health in high altitudes. After a game in the high altitudes of Denver in 2007, Clark fell violently ill.
Tomlin also kept Clark out of two other games in Denver since the 2007 incident.
