Academy-Award Winner Actor George Kennedy on Idaho’s Morning News

(EAGLE, ID) He will celebrate his 88th birthday this year. He has won an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor in “Cool Hand Luke” with Paul Newman. Starring in close to 100-films, he acted alongside Cary Grant, Kirk Douglas, Charleton Heston, Jimmy Stewart, Newman, and John Wayne. He was in many Television shows and series as well, and demonstrated his range acting on Dallas, Gunsmoke and the Soap Opera The Young and the Restless. He received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he served this country in the Army for 16-years, AND he has written two books. He joined Tim Lewis Friday on IMN to talk about his upbringing, World War II, his affinity for John Wayne and his love for his craft over the years.
