Attorney General Warns of Mortgage Scam

(BOISE) – Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden is warning residents about a new scam related to the recent multi-state mortgage settlement. The scammers are asking for banking information or credit card numbers. Idaho law does not require borrowers to pay money for help. Wasden says Idahoans will receive about $100 million from the $25 billion lawsuit against the nation’s top lenders.
