Brandon Jacobs Apologizes For Comments About Gisele Bundchen

Al Bello/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Even though his team just won the Super Bowl, New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs found himself in hot water after a remark he made about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s wife, super model Gisele Bundchen.
After the Super Bowl, Bundchen was caught on camera critsizing the Patriots wide receivers for dropping numerous passes. Jacobs said Bundchen should “stay cute and shut up.” Jacobs realized his comments were out of line.
“Given the fact that it’s a colleague of mine’s wife, I do apologize for saying that, because I shouldn’t have said that,” Jacobs said. “It’s his wife and I should respect that just as much as anyone else.”
Jacobs went onto say he was not out of bounds by calling Bundchen cute.
