‘Cougar Town’ Returns Tuesday Night

Mike Coppola/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — The third season of the Courteney Cox comedy Cougar Town premieres on ABC Tuesday night, after an extended hiatus. In the episode, Cox’s character, Jules, becomes upset with Josh Hopkins’ Grayson, her neighbor and love interest, when he calls her predictable.
Despite the friction between the two in the season premiere, Cox says the characters get along just fine. She says Jules, “can be this crazy, kooky girl, and he lets her do that, and he is just, keeps her grounded. I think they like that about each other, and they co-exist well.” Cox and Hopkins were rumored to be romantically linked in real life last year — something they again denied Tuesday on The View Tuesday morning.
Cougar Town airs at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time.
