The only problem is that the Rams already have quarterback Sam Bradford, whom they drafted number-one overall just two years ago. Because of that, according to ESPN, the team plans on trading the pick.

ESPN is also reporting that the Rams have already had discussions with the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, and the Miami Dolphins. All of those teams have picks in the top 10 in the draft. All indications are that the Indianapolis Colts, who own the number-one overall pick, will select former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck with the top choice, so Griffin is the next best quarterback available, according to numerous scouts.

Griffin met with the Dolphins, Redskins, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, and Philadelphia Eagles. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter speculated that the Rams could receive a king’s ransom for the pick. It could take two first-round picks, a third-round pick, and a fifth-round pick to land the Heisman-winning quarterback.
