(OTTAWA, CANADA)    Doug Smith, an 11-year veteran in the NHL was know for his toughness, his skating speed and prowess…but a cut in the ice sent him crashing head first into the boards.  An impact that broke 200 bones in his neck, and shattered two vertebra in his neck.  He was a quadriplegic.   His story from being on top of the Hockey world, to being paralyzed, to overcoming all odds to walk again is one-in-a-million.   Doug joined Tim Lewis on Idaho’s Morning News to talk about his emotions, pain, and WILL to live and tell the story.    You can get Doug’s book here:   thetraumacode.com
