Jeremy Lin Added To NBA All-Star Weekend

New York Knicks/NBA(NEW YORK) — New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin has been added to the Rising Stars game at All-Star Weekend in Orlando.
After pressure to add Lin for his spectacular play in the last two weeks, NBA Commissioner David Stern made the announcement that Lin would indeed be added.
Sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.com that Lin will also be helping out his teammate Iman Shumpert in the Dunk Contest.
A league source Thursday also confirmed a New York Daily News report that the NBA will make Lin part of the field for the Haier Shooting Stars competition during All-Star Saturday night.
Lin was the third pick, chosen by Shaquille O’Neal in the draft for the Rising Stars game.
