‘Jersey Shore’ Spin-Off Headed to Jersey City

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — After being snubbed by Hoboken, N.J., Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley will take their Jersey Shore spin-off elsewhere in the state.
WNYW-TV in New York reports producers of the project have obtained film permits from Jersey City officials and will shoot in restaurants and bars there.
Late last month, Hoboken’s mayor said a request by producers to shoot the spin-off in her city was denied in order to protect “public safety and quality of life concerns” for local residents.
