Korda Captures the Women’s Australian Open Title
Published at(MELBOURNE, Australia) — Jessica Korda won the Women’s Australian Open Sunday, her first career LPGA Tour title, with a 25-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a six-player playoff.
The 18-year-old edged out Stacy Lewis, Brittany Lincicome, Julieta Granada, So Yeon Ry and Hee Kyung Seo with a final round of 1-over 74 at Royal Melbourne.
With the victory, she will receive a payday of $165,000.
