(CLEVELAND) — Miami Heat guard LeBron James opened up the flood gates on Thursday when he did not rule out a possible return to the Cavaliers during Miami’s team shoot around.
Friday before Miami’s 111-87 win over Cleveland, James took a different tone.
“The question is could I see myself playing back (in Cleveland). I said ‘yeah’ in the sense of I don’t know what my future holds and I don’t want to take that (option) out. I answered truthfully,” James said.
“But it’s all about this season for me and it’s all about playing with this Miami Heat team and trying to win an NBA championship. The fans of Miami shouldn’t be worried about anything at this point.”
James did receive a number of boo’s on Friday night from the Cleveland faithful but still found a way to add 28 points in the blowout.
