LeSean McCoy Admits To Not Giving His Best Effort During Pro Bowl
Published at(INDIANAPOLIS) — Earlier in the week, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was very critical towards the NFC when it came to their effort in the Pro Bowl. Rodgers went so far as to say, “I felt like some of the guys on the NFC side embarrassed themselves.” You can put Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy in that category.
McCoy was the starting running back for the NFC, which lost to the AFC 59-41. He had two carries for a total of 10 yards, but he admits that Rodgers comments’ extend to him.
“Yeah? I’m one of those guys,” McCoy said when he was asked about Rodgers’ comments. “You walk around every practice and the guys before the games and the other teams are like ‘take your time’ because we are going at a very slow pace, very easy.”
McCoy’s effort during the regular season is hard to argue. In his third season in the NFL, McCoy ran for 1,309 yards while scoring a total of 20 touchdowns.
