(CATAWBA, N.C.) — More trouble for suspended NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield. The 42-year-old was indicted by a grand jury in North Carolina Monday on four charges, including three felony counts of possession of stolen goods.
Mayfield was arrested on November 2, 2011, after law enforcement officials found around $100,000 in stolen goods in his house. Police also found 1.5 grams of methamphetamine.
Mayfield was suspended by NASCAR indefinitely in May 2009 after he failed a drug test.
