(PESHAWAR, Pakistan) — A pair of drone attacks in northwest Pakistan killed at least 13 people on Thursday, including a number of suspected militants, and left at least seven others injured, according to preliminary reports.
The first attack was a two-missile offensive that targeted a compound in the village of Spalga; at least five alleged militants were killed and seven others were injured. Their nationalities were not immediately clear.
In a second drone attack, two missiles were fired at a pickup truck in the town of Mir Ali, killing at least eight militants; that number was expected to rise. Their nationalities were not immediately known.
