Paul McCartney, Elton John to Perform at Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert

Dave Hogan/Getty Images(LONDON) — Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John will be performing in June for the woman who knighted them. To mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee — that’s 60 years on the British throne — Paul and Elton will headline a huge concert in front of Buckingham Place in London, according to Britain’s Press Association.
In addition to the two rock legends, the massive show will feature performances by artists from the past six decades of Elizabeth’s reign, including Sir Tom Jones, Dame Shirley Bassey, Madness, Annie Lennox, Sir Cliff Richard, and current stars Jessie J, JLS and Ed Sheeran.
The show is expected to draw more than 10,000 fans.
