(NEW YORK) — New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has opened up about the partying that occurred directly after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl.
Gronkowski went on The Mike Missanelli show on 950 ESPN Radio in Philadelphia and defended his actions and passion for the game.
“Yes, definitely…I can see the fans view point, but I’m one-hundred percent in every single game, every single practice, every single thing just to get out there on the field. It was definitely a tough loss. I was hurting from it, everyone is hurting from it. I mean, you don’t work that hard to get to the final game and lose.”
Gronkowski says he is currently on crutches after having surgery on his left ankle.
