(ARLINGTON, TX) — The Texas Rangers have agreed to a three year deal worth approximately $14.5 million dollars with shortstop Elvis Andrus, according to a source.
The deal stops the Rangers from having to go into arbitration with the 23-year old.
Andrus has played three seasons in the majors, all with Texas. He is a career .271 hitter and has averaged 34 stolen bases and just over 85 runs a year.
