Source: Rob Gronkowski Has Ankle Surgery

National Football League(NEW YORK) — New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle Friday, according to ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The recovery time expected for this surgery is 10 weeks. He suffered the injury during the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite the injury, Gronkowski was still able to play in Super Bowl 46 and dance around after the Patriots lost to the Giants at an after party.
“The one thing I do know is the guy absolutely is 100 percent a passionate, passionate competitor when it comes to football. He loves football. He wants to win,” said Patriots president Jonathan Kraftt on the after party situation on Friday. “He wants to get better. He doesn’t like losing. …He’s an ultimate competitor; we’re excited he’s on our football team.”
