Stand Off Suspect Charged With Assault
(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls man arrested after a standoff at the Chelsea Court apartment complex Monday night has been charged with assaulting a woman in an incident last week. Police say Timothy Murphy struck his girlfriend at her apartment Feb. 15th, threatening her with a gun and sending menacing text messages. The woman later reported the incident to the police, which prompted officers to look for Murphy on Monday. He is being held in the Bonneville County Jail on a $350,000 bond.
