State Schools Superintendent Tom Luna on Idaho’s Morning News

  Published at

Tom Luna

(BOISE, ID)  Superintendent for Public Instruction for Idaho, Tom Luna has been busy recently going back and forth to Washington D.C. to speak before Congress telling them Idaho was no longer going to follow No Child Left Behind.  No less than 10-other states have already moved forward with their own accountability plans, and Luna says Idaho has crafted a much better plan to educate properly, reward excellent teachers and allow choice for parents and students.    Tom joined Tim Lewis on Idaho’s Morning News Thursday to discuss this subject as well as online education, and removing the cap on Charter Schools within the state, currently being debated in Boise.
