Syracuse Wins a Nail Biter over Louisville
Published at(LOUISVILLE, KY) — Syracuse was due for a win. After losing to Louisville the last seven meetings, Syracuse finally was able to pull off the victory beating them 52-52 Monday night in Louisville (20-6).
Sophomore forward C.J. Fair scored the go-ahead basket with 2:11 left in the game.
“Louisville had our number for the past few years,” Fair said, “It feels good to Get Scoop (Jardine) and Kris Joseph a win. Our seniors haven’t beat Louisville and it feels good.”
The win means the Syracuse (26-1) is still in the running for the overall number one seed in the NCAA Tournament.
