(TUSCALOOSA, Ala.) — Winning two national championships in three years has earned Alabama head coach Nick Saban a raise and a two-year contract extension. The school’s board of trustees on Monday approved the deal, which extends Saban’s contract through Jan. 31, 2020.
Under the new terms, Saban will receive $5.32 million next season followed by a $50,000 raise in 2013, then $100,000 annually thereafter.
The 60-year-old Saban has won three national titles in his career: two at Alabama and one at LSU.
