An Eight-Year-Old Girl Dies Under Collapsed Firewood

(FREMONT COUNTY) – An 8-year-old girl has died after a stack of firewood collapsed on her in Fremont County Sunday. Authorities say the girl, who’s name has not been released, was reported missing at about 4 p.m. Emergency responders discovered the girl under the stack of wood and immediately started CPR. She was then transported to Madison Memorial Hospital where she later died. An investigation is ongoing.
