(ORLANDO) — The Chicago Bulls (38-10) decimated the Orlando Magic (29-18) 85-59, making the Bulls 3-1 since star guard Derrick Rose has been out of the lineup.
Carlos Boozer led Chicago with 24 points and 13 rebounds and John Lucas came of the bench and chipped in 20 points.
“Coach tells us always stay ready,” Lucas said after the win. “Derrick comes to us every game and is like it’s time…let’s go…Just because I’m not playing doesn’t mean were going to lose. We got everybody on our team that can flat out play. Our bench is deep so everybody’s ready one through fourteen. That just shows how the organization picked out the players we have, and the coaching staff did their research on everybody.”
The 59 points the Bulls held the Magic to is a regular season franchise record for the Bulls.
