(LOS ANGELES) — The Boston Celtics (22-19) blew a 10-point-lead in the final minutes of the game, only to come back and beat the Los Angeles Clippers (23-17) 94-85.
The game was a back-and-forth affair. The Clippers were down 10 in the fourth quarter when they went on a 17-3 run, but then the Celtics countered with a 13-2 run of their own, leading them to the victory.
“Sometimes that’s the way the game goes,” Celtics Captain Paul Pierce said. “It’s about runs. You have your ups and downs. One team gathers momentum then the other team gathers momentum. I’m just glad I was able to gather it late.”
Pierce led all-scorers with 25-points including 10 in the fourth quarter.
