Since his return from concussion symptoms four games ago, Crosby has tallied nine points, all coming off assists. Despite doing well dishing out the helpers, Crosby hasn’t scored a goal in his last 11 games, the longest streak of his career.

“I’m not a guy who’s going to shoot the puck from right inside the blue and beat a goalie,” Crosby said. “A lot of my goals are around the net. With the power play I might be up high a little more. Five on five I’ve got to make sure I get to the net a little bit and get that timing back.”

Although Crosby may not be scoring goals his teammates are. The Penguins currently rank first in the NHL in goals per game and center Evgeni Malkin is second in the NHL with 43 goals.
