The Penguins didn’t miss a beat either and trounced the Rangers, 5-2, for their tenth win in a row.  Crosby played on the third line with Matt Cooke and Tyler Kennedy.  Crosby did not score, but assisted Chris Kunitz’s who made the game 4-2 at 3:01 in the third period.

“It’s going to just take some time.  As for the timing and things like that I felt like it got a little bit better,” said Crosby.  “It felt more comfortable as the game went on.  To kind of get into a game like that with a big situation, intensity, and everything that comes with it, just happy to get that first one over with and keep going here.”

The win pulled the Penguins within four points of the Eastern Conference leading Rangers.
