(CHICAGO) — The Chicago Bears acquired three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall from the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2012 and 2013 NFL draft.
Marshall will be joined in the Windy City by quarterback Jay Cutler, whom he played with in Denver from 2006-2008.
In six seasons in the NFL, Marshall has 494 receptions, 6,247 reception yards and 34 touchdowns. He has posted five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Chicago hasn’t had a receiver eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in nine years.
The Dolphins acquired Marshall from the Broncos in 2010 in exchange for two second-round draft picks.
