Ed Board Pushing for College Degrees
Published at(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho Board of Education has set a goal to have 60 percent of 25 to 34-year-olds with some kind of college education by 2020. Local News 8 reports that only 33 percent of Idahoans currently have a post-secondary education certificate, and only 1 in 4 have a bachelor’s degree. Business leaders say there is a significant interest in boosting the number of college-educated employees statewide.
