Explosion Causes Evacuation at Micron

(BOISE) – An explosion at Micron Technologies in Boise injured seven people and led to the evacuation of more than 200 people.  Investigators say a piece of equipment exploded at the facility Tuesday morning, though the cause remains unknown.  Most workers returned to their jobs later in the day.  Those injured were treated for dust inhalation and temporary hearing loss.  Witnesses say the explosion was powerful enough to move a concrete wall.
