Finnegan’s Body Recovered From Snake River

(IDAHO FALLS) – The body of a missing Idaho Falls man has been pulled from the Snake River. Authorities say 46-year-old David Finnegan disappeared December 9 while walking his dogs along Gem Lake Marina. Finnegan’s body was spotted Sunday afternoon near the bridge on 65th South. Finnegan is believed to have drowned while trying to rescue his dogs who had fallen in the water. Both dogs were later found wandering along along the riverbank. Investigators do not suspect foul play.
