Heat Blow Out Nets, 108-78
(MIAMI) -- The Miami Heat (29-9) got back on their winning ways after a two-game slide with a 108-78 rout of the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday night.
LeBron James led the way with 21 points and Chris Bosh added 20 in his return to lineup. Dwyane Wade scored 13 but turned his right ankle in the first half and did not return to the game.
"Not worried at all," Wade said when asked if he'd be able to play the next game against the Hawks.
Miami was happy to see the 12-27 Nets after a two-game skid.
"One good quality, of many qualities that we have on this basketball team, is the ability to own it," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "And the last two games, we did not play the way we're capable of. We certainly did not play to our identity on either end of the court."
The win pulled Miami within two games of the Eastern Conference-leading Chicago Bulls (32-8).
