Jackson School Officials Delay Vote on Alcohol Wanding
Published at(JACKSON, Wyo.) – School officials in Jackson have delayed a vote on a measure aimed at cracking down on underage drinking. The proposal would allow the school to wave an alcohol wand around students at voluntary after-school events. The wands can detect if someone has been drinking, but not how much. The American Civil Liberties Union opposes the measure, saying it is unconstitutional and an invasion of privacy.
