(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims are now down to 359,000 after falling for the third consecutive week this month, the Labor Department reported Thursday.
For the week ending March 24, the number of people filing for benefits dropped by 5,000. The previous week, claims stood at 364,000.
The four-week average also went down, falling by 3,500 to 365,000.
