Katie Couric’s New Talk Show Gets Premiere Date

ABC/Donna Svennevik(NEW YORK) — Katie Couric has scheduled a premiere date for her upcoming daytime talk show. The nationally syndicated program, simply titled Katie, will debut Monday, Sept. 10.
In addition, the Katie logo has made its debut online. You can check it out on Couric’s Facebook page.
Couric’s talk show has targeted a September 2012 launch since she was hired by ABC last June. The network is distributing the program, which will be produced by Couric’s former Today show boss, Jeff Zucker.
Couric joined ABC after spending less than five years as anchorwoman of CBS Evening News.
