(MIAMI) — Guard Derek Fisher is a free-agent and the Miami Heat are a possible landing spot.
Fisher just completed a buyout with the Houston Rockets and wants to play for a contender.
As for coming to Miami, LeBron James wouldn’t mind.
“The one thing you know about Derek Fisher is he’s a winner,” James said. “He’s not afraid of the moment. He’s won multiple championships so you always know that. I don’t know what our plans are, but I don’t know see it as a bad fit for us. He could fit anyone’s team I think just because of his leadership and commitment to win.”
Early reports say the Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder have shown interest in Fisher.
