(NEW YORK) — NBC wants to hear — and see — more of The Voice, so next month, the network will expand the show to two nights per week.
The singing competition will air a one-hour results show on Tuesday nights, beginning April 3. The extra hour of The Voice will compete against ABC’s Dancing with the Stars results show. A two-hour live finale is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8.
Currently, The Voice airs only on Monday nights. The live performance rounds will begin Monday, April 2.
The Voice is definitely NBC’s biggest hit. This week’s episode was seen by 16.7 million viewers, according to Entertainment Weekly.
